Introduction of Wholesale Factory
We are a factory specializing in wholesale inert ceramic ball support media. Due to our long-term professional production, the quality is more reliable. As we are the direct manufacturer, the price is more attractive. The size specifications of inert ceramic ball support media range from 3 millimeters to 50 millimeters. The content of aluminum oxide ranges from 23% to 99%. The varieties include low-aluminum inert ceramic balls, high-aluminum inert ceramic balls, convex-concave inert ceramic balls, porous inert ceramic balls, perforated inert ceramic balls, etc.
Selection Suggestions
When choosing inert ceramic balls as supporting media for bulk production, we should select the appropriate ones based on the operating temperature, catalyst size, etc. The following viewpoints are merely for reference and suggestion.
For petroleum, chemical, and fertilizer industries: High-alumina ceramic balls (Al₂O₃≥ 90%) that can withstand high temperatures (≥ 1300℃) and strong acid and alkali corrosion, such as corundum-based ceramic balls, are required.
For environmental protection or low-temperature reactors: Ordinary ceramic balls (Al₂O₃ 20-30%) or medium-alumina ceramic balls (Al₂O₃ 30-45%) can meet the requirements.
For special processes (such as hydrogenation refining): Open-pore or microporous ceramic balls need to be selected to increase the porosity and filtration efficiency.

Characteristics
Strong chemical stability: Mainly composed of materials with stable chemical properties such as alumina and silica, it is not prone to chemical reactions with acids, alkalis, salts and various organic solvents, and can maintain stable performance in highly corrosive environments.
Excellent thermal stability: It can withstand temperatures up to several thousand degrees Celsius, and when facing rapid temperature changes, it is unlikely to crack or deform, ensuring the stable operation of equipment in high-temperature environments.
Good mechanical properties: It has high strength, high hardness and outstanding wear resistance. Under the erosion of high-speed gas and liquid flows, the wear degree is low, effectively prolonging the service life of equipment.
Low water absorption rate: Smooth surface, uniform density, and not prone to absorbing water. During use, it can maintain long-term stability and reliability.
Main functions
Supporting catalyst: The inert ceramic balls used as the supporting medium for the catalyst bed serve as the base layer beneath the catalyst bed, supporting the catalyst particles and preventing their loss or damage.
Distributing fluids: It helps to evenly distribute liquids or gases in the reactor, enhancing reaction efficiency.
Thermal shock resistance protection: The inert ceramic balls used as the supporting medium can absorb the stress caused by temperature changes, preventing the catalyst from cracking or the structure of the reaction bed from changing.
Physical filtration: The inert ceramic balls used as the supporting medium can filter out impurity particles to a certain extent, protecting the activity of the upper catalyst layer.

Purpose
Petroleum refining: Catalyst bed support for hydrogenation, cracking, desulfurization and other processes
Chemical industry: In ammonia synthesis and methanol production units, inert filler for reaction beds
Environmental protection industry: As carrier support in waste gas treatment and VOCs adsorption towers
Air separation and drying systems: Support for drying agents and adsorbent particles
